Hey Girl, Heal

As you may know, I am the Founder and Pioneer of the mental health awareness movement, Hey Girl, Heal.

The passion for Hey Girl, Heal came from trying to find healing for my wounds. As a child, I grew up in a single parent household due to my father choosing the street life over raising his family. When I became a senior in high school and lost my little brother to pneumonia, I began to numb my pain with alcohol and drugs.

For my entire life, I always blamed myself for my father not loving me and being absent. As an overachiever, I lived my entire life to make him proud by succeeding in every aspect of life so that he would show up and notice me. During my healing journey, I was able to find the root causes of my abandonment, trust issues, sexual promiscuity, identity issues, procrastination and suicidal thoughts.

Once I began to truly heal in 2017, I broke off my engagement and gave up the family that I had always wanted because I discovered that my brokenness is what attracted me to my now ex-fiance. After this tough decision, I began a quest to find and love Tahauya without any attachments. Healing isn't pretty, but it was definitely worth it.

I gave birth to Hey Girl, Heal in 2019 to create a safe space for women to heal, vent, learn and grow. We are devoted to humanizing healing and promoting success in women worldwide, by equipping them with the tools and accountability to become the best version of themselves. I wake up daily motivated to showing women the endless possibilities of life after healing.

For those who have been broken at one point in life, I want you to know that it's possible to smile again and truly be happy. All women deserve a love and life that they don't have to suffer in. As a result, I hosted my first conference, Heal & Chill, on January 11, 2020 in Ft. Worth, TX and my goal is to offer this as an annual event once COVID is under control. We are on a mission to help women escape the wilderness, turn their pain to power and serve as a walking blueprint to show women there is more to life than pain. My ultimate goal is to help others get their fight back and create a life they love through mental health awareness and community!
